Avalon Continues Its Partnership with UC: An Investment in Education and the Future of Young Talent

For Avalon, collaboration with universities is not just a series of isolated educational initiatives, but part of a long-term strategy for working with young talent. This year, the company renewed its partnership with the Ukrainian Catholic University for the second time and awarded two scholarships to talented students in the “Media Communications” program.

On September 16, an official scholarship award ceremony took place at the Sheptytsky Center. The founders of the programs at the UCU Faculty of Social Sciences personally presented the certificates to the students and had the opportunity to talk with them and offer a few words of advice to those who are just beginning to shape their own professional paths.

A separate part of the meeting was a discussion about the development of UCU, the university’s achievements, its goals, and strategic priorities. For Avalon, such meetings are, above all, an opportunity to better understand the educational environment and to jointly explore ways in which business can complement academic knowledge with real-world practical experience.

For the company, this is an investment in human capital. Collaboration between universities and business always works both ways: students gain the opportunity to work on real-world case studies, see the business from the inside, and apply their knowledge in practice, while companies get to know a new generation of talent, their ideas, and their fresh perspectives on familiar things. And even if these students ultimately choose a different career path, what matters is that they will become strong professionals who will shape the environment and the future of our cities.

That is why the scholarship is just one element of the partnership. During the meeting, Avalon announced new opportunities to apply for scholarship support starting in the second semester, as well as the launch of efforts to expand its collaboration with UCU.

One of the upcoming initiatives is paid internships at Avalon, during which students will be able to participate in the company’s real-world projects, work on business cases alongside teams, and take their first professional steps while still in school. We will provide more details about these new opportunities and the terms of participation at a later date.

For Avalon, this is a continuation of our systematic approach: supporting education, providing young people with access to practical experience, and creating an environment where the next generation of professionals can grow today.
