Today, cities are competing not only on the basis of their architecture or pace of development, but also on their ability to attract new international partnerships and investments and to forge long-term ties. That is why it is extremely important for Lviv today not to lose its role as an open European city and to continue integrating into the global economic context.

On May 13, Avalon signed an official memorandum of cooperation with the Lviv City Council, specifically with the Department of Investments and Projects, as part of the international initiative Lviv Invest Days. The signing ceremony was attended by Lviv Deputy Mayor Lyubomyr Zubach, Head of the Investment and Projects Department Andriy Pavliv, as well as representatives of Avalon—Marketing and Sales Director Marta Gerus and Commercial Director Oleksandr Barylyuk.

As part of this cooperation, Avalon has become the main partner of Lviv Invest Days—a platform designed to develop Lviv’s investment potential, establish international business ties, and create new opportunities for the city even during extremely challenging times.

Today, Lviv effectively serves as one of Ukraine’s key logistics and business hubs. It is here that companies are relocating, new international contacts are being formed, partnerships are being launched, and initiatives are being created that will shape the country’s future.

For Avalon, this collaboration is not just about supporting a single event. It is about a shared vision of what modern Lviv should be: a city that develops systematically, thinks globally, and remains open to the world even in times of great challenge.

“For us, this partnership is about responsibility and a shared vision for Lviv’s development. We believe that the city should grow not only through architecture and new construction, but also through strong international ties, investment, and technological development,” notes Marta Gerus, Avalon’s Director of Marketing and Sales.

One of the next stages of this collaboration will be the Construction Forum in Tokyo—an event aimed at strengthening international dialogue in the fields of urban planning, development, and investment. And today, Japan is one of Lviv’s key partners in humanitarian and infrastructure initiatives.

Today, partnerships between business and the city are becoming more than just important—they form the foundation for future development. And it is through such initiatives that Lviv continues to build its role as a city capable not only of adapting to challenges but also of creating new opportunities for the country and the world.
