This year, Avalon together with Pro PM and Lviv Polytechnic implemented an important initiative aimed at supporting talented students and developing future specialists in the development sector. As part of this partnership, we provided scholarships to top students in project management, architecture, and construction-related fields, because we believe that investing in education is an investment in the overall quality of the industry.

 

The next step was an office tour at Avalon, where students were able to see how the development ecosystem works from the inside: from analytics and marketing to design, sales, and construction management. The atmosphere of live interaction allowed future professionals to feel the real rhythm of the company and see how large projects are born.

 

The culmination of the visit was a lecture-conversation by Avalon’s Commercial Director — filled with practical cases, real challenges, and advice you won’t find in textbooks.

 

Together with the students, we discussed:

• the journey of a residential complex from idea to commissioning;
• the role of the PM within the complex system of development;
• the architect’s role in the context of product implementation;
• the balance of soft and hard skills required for a modern specialist;
• which competencies become crucial at different stages of a project.

 

A special part of the meeting was the input from our colleagues — graduates of Pro PM courses — who shared their own experience and explained how the training helped them strengthen their skills, rethink their approach to work, and grow professionally.

 

The lecture took place in the format of an open conversation, where students asked questions, discussed, and looked for answers to real professional challenges. The meeting concluded with a Q&A session and a warm, informal small talk in the kitchen over pizza — because this is how genuine professional connections begin.

 

It was an incredible experience that proved: when business, education, and practice work together, opportunities arise that can change the future of young specialists. Avalon continues to support talent and shape a new professional environment in Ukraine.
