Avalon’s 12th Anniversary: The Year We Became Even Better

  • Brand

до 6 September 2026

A birthday is a great time not only to reflect on how it all began. It’s much more interesting to see who we’ve become today.

Over the past year, Avalon has grown in more ways than just square meters. We’ve launched new projects and handed over keys, earned international recognition, transformed industry-standard processes, developed partnerships, invested in young talent, and became an even more active part of the city where we operate.

Today, Avalon comprises 18 projects in our portfolio, 570,000 m² of total construction area, over 7,500 families who have chosen our projects, a team of 150+ professionals, and six European Property Awards. But what matters most to us is what lies behind these numbers.

We continued to build—and hand over the keys.

Construction remains the foundation of everything we do.Throughout the year, our projects changed literally every day: new floors and facades went up, interior work was completed, and courtyards and public spaces were landscaped. And what until recently existed only in blueprints and renderings gradually became a place for real life.

In 2026, this process will take on an even greater scale: by the end of the year, Avalon plans to hand over more than 111,000 m² of residential space to owners. For us, this is more than just a statistic. These are the thousands of moments when future residents step into their apartments for the first time, inspect them before taking possession, plan their interiors, and finally receive their long-awaited keys. It is in these moments that square meters cease to be mere square meters and become a home.

We’ve continued to raise the bar.

Over the past year, we’ve thought a lot not only about what we’re building, but also about what a modern experience of interacting with a developer should look like. Avalon was the first in Ukraine to offer the option to purchase a home online using Diia and Diia.Sign.For the conservative real estate market, this meant changing a process that had seemed unchangeable for decades. For the client, it meant something much simpler: the ability to choose and purchase their future home no matter where they were.

And one of the first such transactions was particularly special to us—a Ukrainian soldier purchased an apartment remotely while serving on the front lines. This story reminded us of why innovation is truly needed: not to call ourselves “tech-savvy,” but to make complex things simpler for people.

Our projects have received international recognition.

This year brought Avalon new international recognition. The company’s projects were honored at the European Property Awards, bringing the total number of these awards in Avalon’s portfolio to six.

We continued to represent Ukrainian real estate development in the international professional community—notably at MIPIM—to discuss the transformation of the Ukrainian real estate market and demonstrate that Ukrainian projects can compete in terms of architectural quality, concepts, and execution.Meanwhile, back home, Avalon was recognized as the No. 1 developer in Lviv by the Ukrainian Construction Association.

For us, every such award is not an endpoint, but a confirmation that we need to raise the bar even higher.

We’ve grown even closer to the city.

Avalon is growing alongside Lviv, so it’s important for us to remain not just a company that builds in the city, but a company that is part of it.Throughout the year, we continued to support urban, social, and charitable initiatives, collaborate with UNBROKEN, participate in sporting events, sponsor the half-marathon, carry out projects for City Day, and support greening initiatives.

Though varied in format and scale, they share a common foundation: responsible business cannot exist in isolation from the environment in which it operates.

We began investing even more in those who will shape the future.

Education was another key focus area this year.Together with the Ukrainian Catholic University, Avalon launched a scholarship program for young talent. But we deliberately went beyond financial support.

Students worked on real-world business cases, were mentored by members of the Avalon team, and in the summer, had the opportunity to complete a paid internship within the company.

This is how another initiative is born—one that we want to develop and scale, creating opportunities for young professionals even before they take their first full-fledged step in their careers.

Because the future of real estate development depends not only on what we’re building today, but also on the people who will be building tomorrow.

Over the past 12 years, Avalon has changed many times. We’ve changed our product, our approaches, our technologies, our communication, our scale, and our team.

And we don’t want to stop this process.

Today, Avalon comprises 17 projects and hundreds of thousands of square meters. But at the same time, it represents thousands of people who have entrusted us with their future homes. Professionals who bring these projects to life every day. Young specialists just starting out on their careers. Partners with whom we’re transforming the city. And Lviv, a part of whose development we’re honored to be.

Twelve years is enough to gain experience. But it’s certainly not enough to stop evolving.

That’s why we’re starting our next year just as we’ve started every previous one: with the desire to make the next one even better.
