This year, Avalon partnered with two landmark events in Lviv—the Lviv Summer Jazz Festival and the International Economic Forum. Despite their different formats, they are united by a common vision: creating a space for dialogue, the exchange of experiences, the birth of new ideas, and the city’s development. 

For Avalon, partnering with such initiatives is an extension of the company’s philosophy. We are convinced that modern development is not just about architecture or construction. One of the key events of the year was the International Economic Forum (IEF)—a leading platform that brings together representatives of the government, business, international organizations, and the expert community to discuss current economic challenges, investment opportunities, digital transformation, and the country’s development. 

Among the forum’s speakers was Ukraine’s fifth President, Petro Poroshenko, who spoke about new economic opportunities for the country, changes to the tax system, and the role of digitalization and technology in the development of the Ukrainian economy. 

During the panel discussion titled “Real Estate and Urban Renewal: Capital, Architecture, and the Future of Ukrainian Cities,” Avalon was represented by Marta Gerus, Director of Marketing and Sales. 

During the discussion, participants addressed some of the most critical challenges facing modern real estate development: how to assess risks in the real estate market amid security uncertainty, what mechanisms can attract private capital to the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities, and how to ensure that post-war recovery is not merely a recreation of the past, but an opportunity to create modern, sustainable, and people-centered urban spaces. 

These topics are particularly close to Avalon’s heart, as each of the company’s new projects represents not just square meters, but an environment that influences people’s quality of life and the city’s long-term development. 

Equally significant was the Lviv Summer Jazz Festival—an event that has long been one of Lviv’s cultural hallmarks and brings together world-class musicians, artists, and thousands of visitors every year. For Avalon, supporting such cultural initiatives is a natural part of urban development, as culture shapes a city’s spirit, character, and community.
